CloudSketch ("we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use our CloudSketch mobile application.

Photos You Analyze

CloudSketch analyzes cloud photos that you take or select from your device. Here's what happens with your photos:

Temporary Processing: Photos are sent to our AI service (Anthropic's Claude API) for analysis to identify shapes in clouds
No Long-Term Storage: We do not store your photos on our servers after analysis is complete
Local Storage Only: If you choose to save cloud shapes, they are stored locally on your device only

Personal Information

We do NOT collect any of the following:

Names or email addresses
Phone numbers
Physical addresses
Payment information
Location data
Device identifiers
Any other personally identifiable information

2. How We Use Information

The only information we process (your cloud photos) is used exclusively for:

Analyzing cloud formations to identify shapes using AI
Providing you with creative descriptions of the identified shapes
Delivering the core functionality of the app

We do NOT use your photos for any other purpose, including training AI models, marketing, or sharing with third parties.

3. Data Storage and Security

On Our Servers

Photos are processed in real-time and deleted immediately after analysis
We do not maintain any database of user photos
Processing happens through secure, encrypted connections (HTTPS)

On Your Device

Saved cloud shapes are stored locally on your device
You can delete saved shapes at any time through the app
No data is synced to cloud services unless you explicitly use device backup features

4. Third-Party Services

Anthropic Claude API

We use Anthropic's Claude AI service to analyze cloud photos and identify shapes. When you use CloudSketch:

Your photos are sent to Anthropic's API for analysis
Anthropic processes the images according to their privacy policy
Images are not retained by Anthropic after processing

We do not share your data with any other third-party services, advertisers, or analytics platforms.

5. Children's Privacy

CloudSketch is a family-friendly app suitable for all ages, including children. We do not knowingly collect any personal information from children or adults. The app:

Does not track users

6. Your Rights and Choices

Since we don't collect or store personal information, there is no data to access, modify, or delete from our servers. However, you can:

Control Photo Access: Manage app permissions in your device settings
Delete Saved Shapes: Remove any saved cloud shapes directly in the app
Stop Using the App: Simply delete the app from your device at any time

7. Data Retention

We retain your data for the following periods:

Photos sent for analysis: Deleted immediately after processing (within seconds)
Saved cloud shapes: Stored on your device until you delete them
Personal information: None collected, none retained

8. International Users

CloudSketch is available worldwide. When you use the app:

Photos are processed through Anthropic's global infrastructure
No personal data is transferred or stored internationally
The same privacy protections apply regardless of your location
